“We start from the demand of our clients,” says coordinator Sophie De Somere. “Based on circular raw materials, we devise solutions for complete interiors. Clients can come to us for the entire process: from design over making to on-site installation.”
 
Sustainable interior design
“For a new interior, we first look at the potential of everything in the space together with the client. In doing so, we consider the story of each material and object and take into account the character and history of the space we are addressing. We then design a total custom design, following circular principles to design the new furniture. This is how we arrive at a new, fresh and vibrant interior.”
 
Reuse = beautiful
ONBETAALBAAR's designs demonstrate that circular interiors can be aesthetic and have a bright future. This is proven, among other things, by the Henry van de Velde Silver Award the collective won in the Environment category in 2022, along with the Gold Award in the Space category for the interior design of the foyer and café of the Bijloke Music Center.
