Who steers what at Flanders Circular?
Working in a green environment has a positive impact mental and physical health. Wall garden therefore offers a simple way to introduce more greenery and an ecological alternative to building materials such as concrete and brick.
Vertical gardens have long been introduced in urban environments, but due to the high cost, the green wall system was often only for large companies or projects.
The company Wall Garden also wants to make the concept accessible to smaller companies, governments and even individuals. It has developed an innovative system that makes green walls affordable, without reducing their quality. A wall garden consists of panels of substrate filled with a layer of plants and flowers. Because the company works with customised panels, both small and large areas can be transformed into wall gardens, where different plants and flowers can be combined into a customised design.
Due to the structure of the panels and the plant layer, a wall garden is also an ecological alternative to other, less ecological, types of external walls such as concrete or brick. The system meets all the expectations of an exterior wall: it insulates optimally, provides healthy air inside and guarantees the necessary fire safety.
With their Total Value Wall (TVW), Wall Garden goes even further. A TVW wall garden is able to purify household grey water, such as the water from your bathroom or washing machine, so that it can then be used as toilet water. In short: by introducing a wall garden into your (re)construction, you are helping nature and yourself.
