About our management
Who steers what at Flanders Circular?
During some studio visits in Portugal, the two founders of King Comf saw rolls full of irresistible fabrics, ready for the scrap heap. The idea quickly grew to do something with just those fabrics discarded by the fashion giants of this world. By using these surpluses, the company always works in small runs. Combined with their handmade production, this means that each piece is unique.
The clothes are made in Portugal and Spain with carefully selected partners who share the same ethical and ecological principles as King Comf itself. To ensure this, founder Cleome travels to the sewing workshops up to four times a year. Finding the right hands was a long-term process. The result is a team where everyone is 100% behind King Comf's mission. The collaboration with craftsmen also ensures responsible and high-quality results driven by expertise time and again.
