About our management
Who steers what at Flanders Circular?
From banana bunches to chocolate wafers and pointed peppers, our shop shelves are full of products wrapped in plastic. Although these plastic packages are not always necessary to keep products fresh, they do end up in your dustbin every day. To reduce plastic waste, Anneleen and Peter choose packaging-free alternatives with their shop Kabas. With Kabas at Home, they now bring their products to your front door.
A house without plastic packaging lying around? Not only during May Plastic-Free. Anneleen and Peter have been setting their sights on packaging-free shopping since 2017. At their local shop Kabas, you shop local and organic products with your own reusable bags and boxes.
Recently, the couple went one step further and delivered products right to your front door with Kabas at Home. Through their webshop, you indicate how big your household is, which food products, maintenance products or utensils you need and where you want them delivered. Kabas at Home does this in cooperation with Belgian company Red-use, supplier of recycled and reusable takeaway packaging.
That way, 250,000 fewer plastic packages disappear into the dustbin every year. Good for 5,200 blue bags saved.
