About our management
Who steers what at Flanders Circular?
Family company Elanco from Aarsele has been making uniform shirts and blouses since 1945. For the police, civil protection, the army and the fire department, among others. To make the shirts, Elanco uses almost exclusively recycled materials.
Local production
It is an exception in Europe: at clothing house Elanco they do not outsource anything. The design, production and embroidery are all still done in the workshop in Aarsele. There are no stocks: Elanco only works to order. And the fabrics come from a textile producer nearby. In this way, the company keeps the number of transport kilometers to a minimum.
Recycled fabrics
Elanco only exceptionally uses virgin fabrics: fabrics that have never been used or processed before. Most of the men's shirts and women's blouses consist of recycled materials.
Longevity
What is important for uniforms is that they are timeless and can withstand wear. By working with strong, high-quality fabrics and specialized stitching machines, the shirts and blouses last indefinitely.
