Tapazz is a car-sharing service based on a peer-to-peer system When you are not using your car yourself, you can share it with others via Tapazz. You decide who can borrow your car and at which rate per hour or per kilometre. There is neither a registration fee nor a subscription fee. Users only pay for use of the car via pre-paid credit. Lessors are subject to the ‘no cure no pay’ principle, i.e. they only pay a percentage to Tapazz if they actually make any money leasing their cars. Tapazz is a low-threshold service that uses modern technology to make car sharing accessible and financially feasible for a wide audience. Virtually any car you see on the road can take part in this scheme.
