Why?
Why?
Water is a precious commodity. Essential for all life on earth, agriculture and industry. Yet we give it little thought: all we have to do is turn on the tap and it comes out. Although water is seemingly inexhaustible, we are still vulnerable to drought and water scarcity - even in Flanders.
To make us resilient, we are taking the collaborative route and putting maximum effort into water conservation and circular water use. That way, we will overcome challenges such as water scarcity, drought and climate change. For more info: check out the Blue Deal and the Flemish Climate Adaptation Plan.
