Innovative and colourful textiles

The textile company Kvadrat designs and produces colorful and high-quality textile products for architects, designers, and individuals, always keeping nature in mind.

Kvadrat is a Danish company, but in 2000, it also established a presence in Belgium with a showroom in Antwerp. The company offers a wide range of textiles and textile products for interior design, ranging from upholstery fabrics and curtains to carpets, acoustic panels, indoor sunshades, and bed linens. Kvadrat works on large projects; their creations can be admired in the Port House in Antwerp and the Courthouse in Ghent, but they also sell to individuals through design stores.

At Kvadrat, the focus is on color, simplicity, quality, and innovation. To realize these in concrete designs, they collaborate with various well-known architects, designers, and artists. For instance, they have released several collections in collaboration with the Belgian designer Raf Simons.

The company also strives to keep their textile production as ecological as possible. They work as much as possible with recycled wool and fiber materials and try to maximize the product's lifespan by focusing heavily on durability. When there are still textile surpluses, these are processed into acoustic foam and tabletops to limit the amount of textile waste as much as possible. In this way, Kvadrat continues to innovate and contribute to both aesthetically appealing and ecologically responsible solutions in the textile industry.
