Who steers what at Flanders Circular?
To borrow books you head to the library. Likewise, to borrow toys you go to toy libraries - ‘speelotheken’ in Dutch. Members can browse the range and choose a few toys they can keep for a few weeks. The range includes anything from construction toys to educational toys and dress-up costumes, (teen) dolls, baby toys, outdoor toys (trampolines, go-karts or slides) etc. There is a wide range of toys and games to choose from. Moreover, during opening hours, children can play together on site. There are some 70 toy libraries in Flanders, most of which are supported by local governments.
