Rotor Deconstruction wants to recover high-quality bathroom fixtures from buildings and prepare them for reuse.
When offices are built, ceramic bathroom items are often discarded as waste products, together with materials from the interior. But this often involves items that have been well maintained and still work perfectly well. And almost identical items are then installed in the new offices. The current sector is unwilling to reinstall items that have been removed.
Rotor Deconstruction would like to expand a service involving the pooling of reusable bathroom fixtures. Together with estate agent partner Cofinommo, they are seeking a dismantling site as a test case. RotorDC will dismantle the items, then prepare them for reuse. The project will verify whether this service model is technically feasible and economically viable.
