Digital technologies boosting the circular economy
Digital technologies boost the circular economy. The Circular Bytes project aims to further increase the use of these technologies.
The Internet of Things and digital technologies are useful to the circular economy. They allow us to identify where a device is located, for example, what state it is in and which materials it contains.
Agoria is a network of about 1,750 companies in the Belgian tech industry. Through Circular Bytes, it aims to bring together digital technology providers and potential users to promote a more efficient use of raw materials and to create new added value. Agoria also aims to boost knowledge on the availability of digital technologies to help circular entrepreneurs, and contribute to an insight into this new field. The project is also working on an overview of measures that can accelerate the application of these digital technologies in Flanders.
